"Late Shri Basant Lal Sharma – The Sculptor of Minds and Morals"
“A life built on simplicity, service, and strength — Shri Basant Lal Sharma was not just a teacher, but a guiding light for generations.”
Shri Basant Lal Sharma, founder of Veer Abhimanyu Senior Secondary School, was a man of discipline, humility, and deep-rooted values. Before establishing the school in 2002, he served as a government teacher, dedicating his life to educating rural children. After school, he would return to the fields, farming with the same sincerity he brought to teaching.
He believed true education meant living with punctuality, respect, and compassion. He mentored students personally, supported the underprivileged, and welcomed students into his home for exam prep. While they set alarms for 4 AM, Guruji had already finished his morning 4 km walk.
Today, his students serve across India and abroad, a testament to his lasting impact. On Basant Panchami, we honor not just his name, but the spirit of learning he inspired. On Ram Navami, he departed, leaving behind a legacy that continues to shape lives.
“You were not just a teacher, Guruji — you were the architect of dreams. Your values are the foundation we stand on today. We bow in gratitude."
